If self catering is your preference the local supermarkets in and just outside Rocha Brava and the local hypermarket Intermarche can provide all you could possibly need, also, the covered municipal market a short drive or bus ride away in Portamao has an abundace of fresh fruit vegetables, meat and very fresh locally caught fish.
